The band was recently at Duper Studio in Bergen with producer Jørgen Træen working on a new single consisting of one new song and a cover of a PJ Harvey song. Look for that to be released soon. The band also has plans to start work on their third full-length sometime within the next few months.
I noticed that The Rasmus is starting to already generate quite a bit of hype in the US. Rolling Stone had 'em on their list of hot bands to watch and I also saw the newest album "Dead Letters" on prominent display at a record store in Portland, OR. It's only a matter of time, I guess.

I'll be going on vacation for a week starting today, so no updates again until April 12. You can still use the mailorder, just be aware that I won't be shipping stuff until I get back. I plan to check my email, but just don't count on a fast reply. Thanks!
But before I go, I've got two things for you. First, there's an mp3 for the brand new single from The End Will Be Kicks up on the right. It's amazing, of course. Second, I'm gonna be giving away a few copies of their new single when I get back. If you want in, simply email contest@itsatrap.com with "TEWBK contest" as your subject. Be sure to include your name and address in the body of the message, too. Spring break forever!
