Bad Afro has signed Danish singer/songwriter Simon Beck aka Viva Vertigo. Beck enlisted the help of many fine musicians to make his new album, including Mick Grondahl from Jeff Buckley's band who recently relocated to Copenhagen. The music is described as a "wide range of sounds from the 60's to the present" and "everything from dreamy, shamelessly poppy tunes to right on guitar rock with a ghostrider touch." Speaking of Edson, the band will reportedly be releasing some sort of "best-of" collection in the UK this summer. Otherwise, singer/songwriter Pelle Carlberg is busy working on new songs and demos.
