Marit Bergman has been added to the Kalas tour lineup along with the previously announced names Backyard Babies, Infinite Mass, The 21st Century Noise and Thomas DiLeva.
The lineup for this year's big Accelerator Festival has been announced. Go to Luger for the full details: http://www.luger.se/
Änglagård the movie? Appears so, according to a posting on the band's website: http://www.anglagard.net/
The film is called "Änglagård 1992" and it documents the first year of the group's career, or as they put it, it's "a portrait of an innovative and original music group in the prime of its youth." Look for a limited European release on September 23 and negotiations with American and Asian distributors are happening next week.
Finland's Amorphis will finally release their most recent album "Far From The Sun" in North American sometime later this spring through Nuclear Blast as a special edition with three bonus tracks. The band is also working on a tour in support.
Unbelievable, but possibly true - Skitsystem has parted with singer/guitarist Tomas Lindberg (ex-At the Gates, The Great Deceiver, The Crown, etc.), the crustpunk band he helped to co-found 10 years ago. Apparently his other commitments with Disfear and whatever other gazillion bands he has going were taking too much away from the group and they decide to go their separate ways on positive terms. Micke Kjellman from Matyrdöd will be taking his place and they are already writing material for their next album. Notice: I am going away on vacation next week, so that means no updates and no mailorder will be available during that time. I plan on checking my email, but if you need anything important from me, please try to take care of it by Friday. Thanks.
Also - four more live tracks from Logh added today. They're one of my absolute favorite bands, so be sure to check them out if you haven't already.
