Burst will be touring Finland at the end of March:

03/24 - Klubi, Tampere
03/25 - Klubi, Turku
03/26 - Lutakko, Jyväskylä
03/27 - Semifinal, Helsinki

Look for European tour dates to be announced for April. Nothing's set yet, but they are planning on four or five UK dates and about six dates around The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. There's also talk of Swedish/Scandinavian dates with Keelhaul and Khanate in May, but again, nothing's set. There should be festival dates coming soon, too.

Germany's Chicks on Speed are enlisting the help of Finnish electronic artist Mika Vainio (Pan Sonic) for the new "Flame On" 10" which they are billing as their "scariest track to date." Apparently it was previously released as hidden track on a CD?

If you've managed to ever capture any sort of visual recording of reclusive black-metal legends Darkthrone, their label Moonfog wants to talk to you. I assume they're putting together a DVD or something, so get in touch with them if you've got footage to share.

It's been talked about here before, but now it's official: Nikola Sarcevic of Millencolin will be releasing a solo album. The disc will be called "Lock-Sport-Krock" and will be out on Burning Heart on March 29. Here's what Nikola had to say about it:

"Last summer I entered [Kalle from TSOOL's] Svenska Grammofon Studion in Gothenburg to record something that would eventually turn out as an album. Together with Henrik Wind (the Peepshows), Thomas Falk (Bombshell Rocks), Mieszko Talarczyk (Nasum) and some other friends and musicians, I recorded 13 songs, of which 11 will be on the album. Soundwise, the material ranges from Boogie-Woogie to Country and Folkrock. I think the word love is mentioned in each and every song, so If there is a "Theme of the album", it's definitely LOVE. Otherwise I would say that the songs are quite different to each other and a lot different to what I've done with Millencolin. I hope you will check it out!"

It has been brought to my attention that the UK's Must Destroy Music label has signed The Fine Art Showcase, the new band fronted by Gustav Kjellvander. That name probably sounds familiar because of Gustav's brother Christian who has a successful solo career, but the two also worked together on the project Songs of Soil. Anyhow, there's no release date set quite yet, but I'll post details when I get them. Any word on a Swedish label...?

Must Destroy is also releasing the new Randy "X-ray Eyes" 7" single on March 15. I've mentioned it before, but here's a reminder.

Today is President's Day in the US so I've been doing other things besides sit in front of the computer today. Okay, maybe I'm lying, but I wasn't stressing about updating the site. Anyhow, here's a couple quick items of note.
