Ex-Hellacopter Dregen, who left the band after the second album to start the Backyard Babies, is reuniting with the band to rerecord a Swedish-language version of the classic 'Copters tune "(Gotta get some action) now!" Punk legend and current Diamond Dog Johan Johansson will update the lyrics a bit and the new version will be called "(Komma ut ur matchen) nu!"

Swedish thrashers Wolf have secured a US release for their new album "Evil Star" through Prosthetic Records. The record will be released in Scandinavia on February 25 via MNW/No Fashion Records.

The Gathering's scheduled show in NYC on February 14 has been cancelled because the club L'Amour lost their lease. They'll play an extra date in in Toronto instead.

Grimfist, the band of ex-Immortal drummer Horgh, is currently working on material for a new album due out late 2004/early 2005 on Candlelight. "The follow-up to last year's "Ghouls of Grandeur" will become a beast unlike none other," they say, "We will slay with this release, mark our words!"
