Lars Winnerbäck will be releasing a DVD featuring footage of a concert at Linköpings Konserthus last September as well as the requisite bonus footage that is par for such things. It comes out February 11.
As promised, Randy is returning to the US on tour, this time with Bouncing Souls and Hot Water Music. It's just a week on the west coast, but that works out just fine for me. Can't wait!

FWIW, I've seen two sets of dates and am unable to confirm what's correct so far with regards to the 11th and 12th. I'll update as soon as I hear.
In a message posted to their web forum, the Weeping Willows have confirmed that they will be releasing a new single in January with an album to follow in February or March.

Moneybrother and Petter are apparently working in the studio together according to this news item at P3 Musikjournalen. Anders Wendin of Moneybrother says they were inspired by R. Kelly and the Isley Brothers and that the music is really dramatic. Should everything come out sounding good in the end, the track will appear on Petter's next album. (in Swedish)
Also from Musikjournalen comes this confirmation of yesterday's news that Kent is working on new material.
Download the track "Saturnine" from the upcoming "Sleep Buildings" semi-acoustic live album from The Gathering, due out January 26. In other news, the band has confirmed some of those rumored US dates that I posted about last week. Here's what we've got so far:

There's a new mp3 on the right from Swedish new-wave synthpop band Paris. Forget about Melody Club, The Sounds, Alice in Videoland, et al - Paris actually writes good songs and appeals to more than just being stylish. Of all the bands in the genre, these guys (and gals) are definitely my favorite that I've heard.
Not only does Arch Enemy get to open for legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden, but they will also be opening for them in January at four (!!!) shows in NYC and a few Canadian dates to boot. Full dates:
