Swedish death-metal supergroup God Among Insects will begin recording their debut album "World Wide Death" on March 20 at Abyss Studios with engineer Tommy Tägtgren at the helm. They are also already planning to do their next recording at Soundlab in September. More info soon.

In the spirit of continuing the fine tradition of Finnish rock n' roll, comes Turku's Boomhauer with a new release on Bad Afro Records. The new 7" "Work On A Spell" contains six "wacky, semi-spastic rock tunes with funny lyrics" and will be released on March 1.

Universal will release the "Cream of the Crap! Vol. 2" comp from The Hellacopters on February 25. A double-vinyl edition will be issued by Sweet Nothing in late March.
