Dead Frog is saying that there's a rumor that Parker will be filming a video for "Another Yoko Song" in collaboration with artist Fia-Stina Sandlund. But that's not all - apparently they'll be going all the way to Peking, China to do it. They'll also be doing a video entirely in 3-D animation for the new record. More info when I get it.
Japanese label Angel's Egg has released a new 7" from Moder Jords Massiva featuring the song "Spider & Fly" and the previously unreleased b-side "Sad times". The single was cut and pressed Kingston, Jamaica and they say the sound and graphics are "unmistakably rootsy."

I'm feeling lazy today, so here's some cut & paste on the latest activities of Jazzkammer:
No new Jazzkammer releases this month, but we both have new stuff with other projects; John's pop-ultra project Kaptein Kaliber is out with a double LP/single CD called "LP Digitalt Remastret" on Telle. Also his noise-duo with Sir Dupermann; The Golden Serenades is out with their first CD simply titled "II" on Gameboy. Gameboy has also just released a CD with Frode Gjerstad and Lasse called "Red Edge". Lasse has a collab CD with Reynols' Anla Courtis on Antifrost called "North and South Neutrino". Cover by Leif Elggren. The Sleazy Listeners is a new project of Lasse and canadian Zev Asher (of Flying Testicle fame), and the debut CD "The Romance is Over" is now out on Squirrelgirl. And if that isn't enough Gold Soundz have released "Belle Tenebrosa" - a good old cassette tape with new studio material by Lasse. Gold Soundz is also putting out a re-issue CD-R of the old "Tremors/Screamers" by DEL - the outrock classic originally a cassette release on Freedom From Tapes. So there's enough noise to keep you happy for a while.

The Gathering's show at Paradiso in Amsterdam on March 2 will be streaming live online over at www.fabchannel.com. And even if you can't make it to a computer on that date, it will be available for on-demand viewing later on, too.
In other news, the band will be composing music for the upcoming Amsterdam film academy graduation film film "The Quiet One" by Daniel Sugawara. Their synopsis of the picture:
"The Quiet One" is a complete Japanese film about the boy Kiyoshi (18) who lives in total isolation from the outside world in his parent's kitchen. Nobody else but his little sister Nozomi can get in contact with Kiyoshi. Through the internet he speaks to other teenagers about his interests; drumming, sex, games, movies, life and...death.
"The Quiet One" tells the story about the phenomenon 'HIKIKOMORI', Japanese teenagers isolating themselves from the outside world and locking themselves in their room with no other contact than the worldwide internet.
The movie will be shown at film festivals over the summer and will also be aired on Dutch VPRO TV at some point.
