Karmageddon Media has signed one-man-band Glittertind aka 18-year old Norwegian musician Torbjørn Sandvik. The debut album "Evige Asatro" was entirely self-produced and recorded between 2001-2002 except for one track ("Norges Skaal") recorded this year and is set for an August 9 release date. The music is said to represent "the work [of] a 16- and 17-year-old boy spellbound by mother nature and Scandinavian art, culture, tales and traditions."

Labrador Records has updated their release schedule. There's a new CD-EP due out from The Radio Dept. this summer (title tba) along with the "Kingsize Vol. 2" compilation. [ingenting]'s debut full-length album "Ingenting duger" has been set for an October release. More details as I get them.
Apparently "The Wild" will be the first single from Kristofer Åstrõm's new album "Loupita". As mentioned before, up-and-coming singer/songwriter Britta Persson performs guest vocals on the track.
Svenskunderjord reports that Göteborg-based record label Twice Records will be releasing a comp in two weeks featuring a selection of up-and-coming Swedish hip-hop artists entitled "Unsigned". Contributors will include Alibi, Rico Wondahman, Obnoxiuz, X.O, S.T, S.P, Nabila, WordSilah, Enhet V, Los Abandonados and more. The band reports that they've laid down the tracks for five of the songs on their next album and only need to layer on the electronics stuff to finish them off. Until they go back into Tonteknik to take of that, they plan to "put the final touches" on the last couple songs in rehearsal so that they're fully ready for recording.
The program for the Momentum Nordic Festival of Contemporary Art in Moss, Norway from May 22 - June 27 has been confirmed and will feature music from Twinn with Kreutzerkompani/Jazzkammer and artwork from a ton of Nordic artists such as Kim Hiortøy. On May 12 Ephemera will release a special sampler album called "Score" in Denmark featuring tracks from previous releases "Sun", "Balloons and Champagne" and "Air" as well as the new track "Nice Day". It will also be released at some point in Japan, but will not get a proper release in their home country of Norway.
