Fonal Records plans to finally release the new TV-Resistori and Risto CDs at the end of June, probably on the 21st depending on when they arrive from being pressed.
Danish label Play/Rec has confirmed the new Barra Head "Arrival" EP for a May 24 release. Download a preview track here: http://www.playrec.dk/barrahead/download/Barra_Head-The_Discipline_of_Making_Sense.mp3
A proper full-length will follow at some point later this year.
Starting in late June, Sweden's Bad Taste Records will finally be distributed in North America through Nail. About time! But if you can't hold out, I'll be getting a number of titles in the mailorder department from Logh and Last Days of April very shortly. I'm not taking official preorders or anything like that, just keep checking back or shoot me an email if you want titles set aside for you. Otherwise, LDOA's most recent album "If you lose it" will eventually see a proper US release around September, but I don't have any more details than that.
Swedish metal band In Battle are seeking a new live/session guitarist. Go to the band's website for more info: http://www.in-battle.com/
In Battle's new album "Welcome To The Battlefield" comes out August 4 via Cold/Metal Blade Records.
Check out the video for "Nemo" from Finland's Nightwish: http://www.nuclearblast.de/media/video/NB_1290.ram
The clip was directed by Antti Jokinen whose previous work includes videos for international artists such as Celine Dion, Eminem and Shania Twain.
I now have Koma CDs available in the mailorder. As mentioned before, they play heavy, mid-tempo rock with tons of epic melodies and clean vocals. I bet if they had someone screaming instead, metalcore fans would be all over this, but as is, it's far more satisfying. As with every title I carry, it comes with my seal of approval and personal recommendation, so be sure to check it out.
On a somewhat related note, I fixed a small bug preventing people from purchasing recent mailorder additions from within that section of the site. Sorry about that! It's working now, so please resume your shopping.
