8thsin, the new project from black-metal midget It (War, Vondur, Abruptum, Opthtalamia), has signed with Black Lodge Records. The label's comments:
8thsin is far from It's earlier projects as both the image and music have changed dramatically. Only the power remains. Today the music is hard to label, but basically 8thsin is about traditional hard rock with elements from thrash metal and electronic music. Something you have probably never heard before.

Norway's Duplicate Records has confirmed that the upcoming Two Trains debut CD will be out later on this summer or in the early fall. They describe the band as 'weird pop music' and say it should appeal to fans of Beyond Dawn, who are a band I greatly admire. Speaking of BD, the 2xLP remix album is set to be the next release from the label this fall. Ten tracks, ten artists. And lastly, the label will team up with Neseblod Records to corelease a new 7" from Infernö. No date yet, but soon. There's also plans for a full-length from those guys, but again, nothing is set quite yet.
Zyklon and ex-Emperor members Samoth and Trym have collaborated with Cosmocrator (Mindgrinder) and Invictus (Disiplin) on a recording of a 'brutal' Windir cover track, set to appear on an upcoming tribute comp to recently deceased vocalist Valfar. It should be out sometime this fall.
Stickman has announced that they will finally get the Isolation Years album "It's Golden" released in Australia, Italy, the UK and Canada in the next few months.
