Don't forget this Sunday's For the Record show at Strings in Stockholm with the always interesting Dialog Cet and recent Chalksounds signees Ellis the Vacuumchild. It's gonna be a good time, I'm sure. Here's some recent press clips about the shows: clip 1 / clip 2 (both in Swedish)

I've also been told that organizer Jason Christie will be on Rockklassiker 106.7 tomorrow at 1400 CET speaking in broken Swedish and hyping it up. Maybe he'll even get em to play some tunes from the bands that are playing. Non-locals can listen online here: http://www.rockklassiker.se/

The band plans to play two full sets at each show, one featuring the entirety of their most recent album "Soundtrack To Your Escape" and the second being a 'greatest hits' set. There will be no opening act and the whole thing is being recorded for a possible future release.

Current Haunted guitarist Anders Björler has moved the official website for his old band At the Gates to a new location: http://www.atthegates.se/

I doubt it will take them long to find something new, but Opeth has reportedly been dropped from the BMG/Zomba Records roster after their original label Music for Nations was folded into the parent company recently. The band is currently writing material for their next album.
