Look for the band's full-length debut "Goodbye city limits, hello heartland" to be released later this year.
Blessing, the new band from Lars Strömberg and Ludwig Dahlberg of The (International) Noise Conspiracy (remember?), will be releasing their debut 7" in May via , "Fabric of wonder" being the a-side.
The Skull Defekts and Daniel Higgs are like chocolate and peanut butter. They both taste great separately, but put them together and oh man, is it magical. I just wish they'd tour out west at some point.

The Gatheration is a new band featuring the four brothers Blomberg, Simon and Daniel from M:40 plus Ulf of Grace.Will.Fall and Jesper who is apparently the black sheep of the family with no notable band resumé. Anyhow, they've come together with the intention of playing straightforward punkrock and, if this song's any indication, I'd say they've succeeded mightily. Look for their debut 7" on / in May with a European tour to follow.
I don't know if it's a one-off thing due to the collision of the Miasmal/Sanctuary in Blasphemy tours or what, but Martyrdöd is coming to the US and will be playing the Black Lodge in Seattle on June 17 with No Statik, Walls, Slowmotions (JPN), Crazy Spirit and my own dumb band Criminal Code. Should be pretty awesome.
No time for updates today as I'm off to PDX to get tattooed. Back tomorrow.
