Shame that the Paper cover is still gone though.
I've heard a bunch of Miasmal stuff over the years and even shelled out for the ultra-limited/sought-after 12" version of the demo on , but I never felt like they lived up to the hype. Solid Swedish death, sure, but we're pretty much drowning in B-grade versions of the stuff right now. This new tune, however, totally changed my mind. If the rest of the album is as good as this, it's gonna be sick. The US tour can't happen soon enough, I just hope the boneheads in Bone Sickness don't screw things up.
Miasmal - Toxic breed

I was just listening to The Bell's debut "Make some quiet" this past weekend and was wondering what had happened to them and now, lo and behold, it appears that they have a new album out: http://www.popmatters.com/pm/review/138459-the-bell-great-heat/
Why was I not informed?
Tonbruket, the current band of ex-Esbjörn Svensson Trio bassist Dan Berglund, will be releasing a new album called "Dig it to the end" at the end of May. It also appears that the group will be coming to the US for a few dates in June: http://www.tonbruket.com/dates.html
I'm due for a trip to the Bay Area, so that Oakland date in June is awfully tempting.
