Rock N Roll Allstars to Despotz

has signed Rock N Roll Allstars and will be sending them into the studio to record their debut album with Tomas Skogsbergfor a fall 2011 release. Look for the single "Fuck me I'm famous" to precede it in April.

Black Lodge confirm new Bonafide EP, Bullet album

Swedish hardrockers Bonafide have a new 6-song EP coming in January via that they recorded live in the studio. Featured cuts include new versions of recent album tracks "Fill your head with rock" and "No doubt about it" plus new song "Kick me out" and covers of "I don't need no doctor" (Humble Pie), "Nice boys (don't play rock'n'roll)" (originally by Rose Tattoo, but more famously done by Guns 'n' Roses) and "I can't explain" (The Who). And speaking of Black Lodge, the label also reports that the new Bullet record "Highway pirates" will be officially released on February 4.

Sweden's selections for the Nordic Music Prize

These 25 will eventually be whittled down to 10 who will go up against 10 selections from each of the other Scandinavian countries which will then be narrowed down even further to a top 12 to be presented to the jury for the final prize.
