Danish duo Darkness Falls has confirmed that their debut EP will be released on March 7 via / with the group's Trentemøller-produced full-length to follow in fall. The Danish Cultural Institute in Brazil in collaboration with Brazilian cultural institution SESC have arranged for the three Danish acts Efterklang, Søren Bebe Trio and Jakob Davidsen Mangfoldighed to perform there as part of a Danish music fest called "Mostra de Música Dinamarquesa" which will take place at the end of the month. Yet another Swedish band with the name Monument? And with a similar goth/post-punk sound to boot. Not that I'm complaining since it's definitely a scene I'm into, but I must admit a slight preference for the more romantic sound of the OGs over the newbs' colder vibes. Still good though, no denying, but maybe they should start thinking about new names.
