Norwegian rock act Backstreet Girls will finally release their long-lost 1995 album "Don't fake it too long" this coming October via Hit Me! records. The album was recorded with short-time vocalist Pat Diamond from Ireland who was eventually kicked out of both Norway and the band.

Swedish art-rockers Knife & Ape report that vocalist Johan Scott has parted ways with the band now that he's moved to Germany. Bassist Johan Lagerlöf will be handling mic duties in his stead.
In other news, the band's long-awaited new album "Night touch" will finally get a proper vinyl release via Moptaco Dics sometime around November. And since this album has taken so long, it looks like another one is already on the way via Kassettbolaget Svart Pyramid. It will be called "Class war" and it will come packaged as a super-limited CDr in a 7" sleeve with a fold-out poster. No release date yet, but I'll keep you posted.
