Clubnight, it's also the 10th anniversary party for Swedish music site Dagensskiva. As I've bemoaned before, I don't get to be there myself, but you can just pretend that I'm DSC editor Kal Ström -- he's a tad taller than me if I remember right and I might have more facial hair, but we both share the same kickass (lack of) haircut. Further enticement: the new Division of Laura Lee single which just happens to be the title cut off their most recent album "Violence is timeless". This is modern Gbg indie meets DC post-hardcore, live on stage in Malmö. A good time is guaranteed!

Insision loses bassist
"Swedish Death Metal" author Daniel Ekeroth has resigned from playing bass in Insision and will instead move out to the countryside to concentrate on his next writing project. Joel Andersson from Immersed In Blood will replace him.

Ghost Brigade announce new album
Finnish melancholic doom act Ghost Brigade has confirmed that their sophomore album "Isolation songs" will be released on August 3 in Europe via Season of Mist. It will also be released in the US, but not until August 25.
Immanu El recording new album, planning fall tour
Swedish postrock act Immanu El will be going into the studio with Kristian Karlsson (Pg.Lost, Last Days Of April, Eskju Divine, etc.) in mid-June to record their 2nd full-length album "Moen". Expect a release this coming fall via And the Sound Records preceded by a Northern European tour in late August.
