Cult of Luna to release audiobook

Cult of Luna's next release will be a book called "Eviga riket", covering the "lifes and times of Mr. Holger Nilsson" and the rest of the story behind their latest album "Eternal kingdom". For those that are unaware or don't remember, that record was based on Nilsson's diaries which cover the time he spent as a mental patient imprisoned for the drowning murder of his wife. As Wikipedia says, "Digesting the diary, the band realised that they had stumbled upon the ramblings of a madman. In the diary, Nilsson blamed the death of his wife on the Näcken, a Swedish folk entity believed to be Satan. The diary created a completely imagined world in which owl men and tree men all contributed to a fantasy story that explained why Nilsson was innocent of the crime." The new book will be in both Swedish and English and will include a narrated version of the story will newly-written and recorded soundscapes from the band. No exact release date yet, but expect it in early 2010.
