Marching Band to record with Jari Haapalainen

Swedish indie act Marching Band have secured the production talents of Jari Haapalainen (Camera Obscura, The Concretes, The Bear Quartet, etc.) for their next album which they'll be recording this winter.

Khoma signs with Catch 'n Release, unveil new website

Khoma have been signed by Catch 'n Release, the new label founded by Anders Fridén (In Flames) and Daniel Tivemark (ex-Nuclear Blast?). The band is still hard at work on their next album which will be released spring 2010. Read more at the band's new website: http://www.khoma.se/

Shiloh signs with Panic & Action

Emphatic pop/indie act Shiloh have signed with Panic & Action and will be releasing the new EP "Forever lost" on November 18. Said EP contains six new tracks plus two remixes by Niklas Von Arnold and Karl Linus. The band also reports that they have started referring to themselves as The Shiloh, so don't get confused if you see it listed that way.

Sideburn signs with Transubstans

Transubstans has signed Swedish act Sideburn and will be releasing their third album "The demon dance" in early 2010. The band is described as "a fine mix of 70's hardrock (Zeppelin, Mountain) and Sabbath during the Dio years and with a hint of modern stoner thrown in for the final touches" and shares a vocalist with (now) labelmates Mangrove.
