10000 Records attempts new business ideal

is the name of a new Danish label founded by Noah Rosanes of The Freudian Slip with the concept that no album they release will cost more than 10k Danish kroner (~$2000/1350€) and the funds for each subsequent release will be raised by auctioning off an exclusive track for that starting price. Sounds like a whole lot of wishful thinking to me, but best of luck to 'em -- read more here: http://10000records.com/index/about/
Naturally, the label's first release will be from the founder's own act, The Freudian Slip. Their album "Positive/negative" comes out February 22.
