"The promotional disc highlights the current developments in Finnish jazz and offers interesting excursions to the rich array of various line-ups and stylistic trends" and is available free to journalists and DJs. Swedish singer/songwriter Isak has set December 26 as the release date for his new album "Honesty Files". The first single will be for the song "Cuts Deep".

The track comes from the band's "Pest Campaign" EP on Pestifer Records and will also be included on the upcoming "Killstorms" 7" from Ancient Darkness Productions. Otherwise, the band plans to enter the studio in February/March to record their next full-length for Osmose Productions.
Long-running Swedish death metal act Unleashed reports they are currently working on songs for their new album and will hopefully be entering the studio in January to start recording. They say the sound will be "in the same style as always" but "the overall pace will be faster and more intense than on the previous [album]."
Apparently things are not so hot for Stratovarius at the moment. Guitarist/bandleader Timo Tolkki recently posted that he's "95% sure that 3 bandmembers have to leave." Read more.
