Mike Patton (Fantomas, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, etc.) is currently working with Norwegian producer John Erik Kaada (Chloroform) on his upcoming 'pop' solo album "Comfort System". The duo previously collaborated on a noise record that's due out later this year on Patton's own Ipecac Recordings, but the pop one probably won't be ready until 2005.

A West Side Fabrication will release the new album "All Good Things Come To Those Who Wait" from Finland's Penniless in mid-February. They'll also be releasing the new 12-song album "Kings Queens" from electronic pop act Rundfunk around the same time.

The Sounds have confirmed that they will be returning to American soil next month for a 30-date tour with Kill Hannah and IMA Robot as support. Dates announced so far:

Stickman reports that they've received copies of the new double-LP 180g vinyl gatefold reissue of "The Tussler" from Norway's International Tussler Society aka Motorpsycho's country-flavored alter-ego. They also say that the band is heading to the mountains to record some new material in a few days.

Sondre Lerche reports that he will begin his next tour at the Ole Bull Theatre in Bergen, Norway on March 17 with fellow Norde Sgt. Petter playing acoutically as support. More dates soon.

Dead Frog Records artists Orange Crunch have decided to change their name to Psychosonic Cindy the Transvision Vamp song of the same name. The reason for the change is that a number of members have changed along with the music since the release of their debut EP so they feel a new moniker was required to reflect the new direction of the band. The group's next show is February 18 at Tantogården in Stockholm.
