Tsool.net responds to the rampant speculation concerning the upcoming Soundtrack of Our Lives album delays:

"The band are great and there are no problem with any record company or whatever. It’s just the time schedule that has been broken, because of several reasons. Technical problem in the studio, missing lyrics and lack of time to sit down and go trough the whole material for the final mix to get the right TSOOL atmosphere. The guys has promised us some compensation for this and there is something coming up on this site in the near future."

Sondre Lerche has a new web diary entry where he talks about the new video for "Two-Way Monologue", the first single and title track from his forthcoming album.

Starmarket has finished recording fifteen new songs for their next album, tentatively titled "Don't Fear the Dark Ends". Not all of the tracks will make it on the final product and there's still no label yet, but they'll finish up with mixing later this coming spring at Studio Gröndahl.

The punkrock supergroup Suicide Blitz featuring members from Defiance, Victims, DS-13, SHOS and Wolfbrigade has been added to the Umeå Punkfest lineup.

The Caesars (aka Caesars Palace) are currently working on a new album, the follow-up to the international release of "39 Minutes of Bliss (In An Otherwise Meaningless World)". It's expected to be out this summer to be followed by touring worldwide.

A new issue of Aversionline means a huge batch of new reviews to pour through. The new single and video from Mando Diao will be for the song "Paralized" which they say "is our best song, because of its simplicity. It's the only song that completely sums up the raw instincts of our band." They also are starting to confirm tourdates for Europe and will kick things off on March 5 in Paris. More details soon.

Promoe from Looptroop will release his new solo album "The Long Distance Runner" on March 22 and will head out on the road across Scandinavia and Europe soon after. The new single "These Walls Don't Lie" comes out mid-February and a video is in the works from the people at Stylewar, the same people who worked on the clip for "Fly Away".

Minor Majority, Jim Stärk, Span and The National Bank have been added to the Øyafestivalen lineup.
