Finland's Children of Bodom report that they have recently finished a new EP called "Trashed, Lost & Strungout" for release later this summer. The tracklist will feature two brand-new songs as well as a couple covers and "a lot of extra stuff." The recordings engineered by Anssi Kippo at ASTIA Studio and mixed by Mikko Karmila at Finnvox Studios.
Arve Henriksen's (Supersilent) new solo album "Chiaroscuro" has been confirmed for a Norwegian release on May 24 from Rune Grammofon. Other releases in the works from the acclaimed avant label include Scorch Trio and Nils Økland along with possibly Alog and/or Phonophani.

Promenade Recordings has confirmed that Camera Casanovas, Ponyboy, Dialog Cet, Meta Band, Galactic Heroes, Tullycraft and Incognito Pop are the bands set to appear on part 2 of their Food-compilation series. The release date has been tentatively set for June 17.

Madrugada is making a trip to NYC for a number of concerts in early May, no doubt to showcase for various record execs and such. Will there finally be a US release for them?
