Global Domination has updated with yet another entertaining interview, this time with Arc from Finnish thrashers Impaled Nazarene: http://www.statikmajik.com/gd/interviews/impnaz.php

Ebon Tale will release their very first single and video "Sit Down" on May 24 via Dusklight Records. The track was recored at the same studio as the group's "Blanket Skies" EP and is said to have the 'same organic and vivid feeling.'

Last Days of April will release their most recent album "If you lose it" in Australia on May 17 via Roadshow Music. The label is home to other bands like Savage Garden and LDOA marks the first time they've worked with a foreign act. So far the reaction has been quite positive, so I'd imagine it's quite possible to expect a tour some point soon.

My understanding is that this tune might end up as their next web-single. We shall see.

Looks like that news about Hardcore Superstar taking it easy this summer to write and record was premature. It turns out the band is breaking up citing drug problems and other stuff. Um, I mean a "seious health problem". Anyhow, they're gonna try and come back together in the fall to see if they can work things out again, so who knows? I'll be sure to try and keep y'all posted.

The new Slågmalsklubben single for "Den Officiella OS" has been tentatively set for a May 10 release. It will include a 10-minute remix from 'laptop guru' Psilodump as well as two b-sides.

Weeping Willows, Promoe, Turid and Organism 12 have all been added to the Storsjöyran Festival lineup.

Here's another update on the current status of ever-dysfunctional band Stratovarius by way of on-again-off-again drummer Jörg Michael: http://www.jorgmichael.com/statement-20040429.php3

I hear that The Cardigans will be playing that upcoming 'Chicks with Attitude' festival alongside Liz Phair, not just Nina as originally reported. Makes sense, especially considering that Nina's solo project A-Camp has yet to receive a proper US release. Anyhow, those of you complaining about The Cards missing your town on the current tour should hopefully feel relieved as this tour looks to be hitting quite a few different cities. Full dates n' details coming soon.
