Satyricon's performance at Wacken Open Air in Germany last weekend was filmed by a twelve-camera team for use in a video for the song "Repined Bastard Nation".
Finnish folk/metal act Amorphis is reportedly working on a US tour with Type O Negative and has lined up two dates so far, October 7 at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT and October 30 at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI. More details when I get 'em.

Sweden's Construcdead have enlisted ex-Carnal Forge guitarist Johan Magnusson to play bass for the band. They are currently working on new material and hope to enter the studio sometime early next year to record a new album.
Ex-Refused drummer turned singer/songwriter David Sandström is working on yet another new album with his new band David Sandström Overdrive.
Swedish hard-rockers United Enemies will record the song "Hell-A-Vision" which was written by Nisse Hellberg of Wilmer X. In other news, the band will contribute the track "Love Kills" to the soundtrack of the upcoming US horror movie "The Bloodstained Bride" by Tritoad Film/Brimstone LLC. It premieres in Hollywood on September 1.

Finland's latest goth-metal export Nightwish has been forced to cancel the first three dates of their debut North American tour due to visa problems. Apparently the 4.5 months they allowed for processing wasn't enough time for the US immigration office to work everything out. The dates affected:
