Odd Ahlgren, lead vocalist for Swedish garage rockers The Robots, is releasing his debut novel "Förlösaren" and will be celebrating with a show at Debaser in Stockholm on September 15. The show will also be a release party for Odd's other band Cryptkicker 5 and their new single "Redeemer" on Debaser Records. The lyrics of the single tie in with the storyline from the novel and "makes it odd stuff from an odd man called Odd." The first 200 people at the show will recive a free copy of the single of which only 400 are being produced.

Uncurbed will be touring the US for the first time in October along with their friends Star Strangled Bastards. Dates:

Sanctum celebrates their 10 year anniversary with the free Internet rerelease of the "Clarify" CDR EP that they sold on their 2001 US tour. The disc includes three tracks from the very excellent "[~]" 10" as well as other material the band felt was good, just not good enough for a 'full scale' release. Björn Kleinhenz says he's quit Johnny Bråttom Records to start his own label. He says he'll probably still work with Johnny in the future, but for now wants to try and do stuff on his own.

Amulet has enlisted Rasmus Porsgrunn as their new bassist. In other news, they'll be contributing a track to the upcoming 20th anniversary disc for Norwegian nightclub Last Train.
