After a two month break, Jaga Jazzist is back in the studio to wrap up their new album for an early 2005 release. They've now enlisted the help of producer Kåre Chr. Europe will be filming a video for "Hero" today in Stockholm. The track is the group's second single from their much-heralded "comeback" album "Start from the Dark".

Chalksounds has announced the release dates for the debut albums from both The End Will Be Kicks and Ellis the Vacuumchild. TEWBK hits first on January 21 in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a release in Japan and the US soon after. Ellis comes out the next week on January 28 in the same territories and again, with US and Japan to follow.

Check out the brand new mp3 today from Peter, Bjorn and John. The song is called "Far away, by my side" and is the first track from the group's brand new album "Falling out", out today via Planekonomi. The label has generously offered this exclusive prerelease sample for a limited time and I'll hopefully be posting even more tracks from the album in coming weeks.
