Today it is my great honor and privilege to bring you and exclusive mp3 of the brand new Isolation Years single "Nurse hands". The single will be officially released on November 24 via NONS/Network Entertainment Group and will be accompanied by a video from director Andreas Nilsson of the band Silverbullit. Check out the artwork here. As mentioned before, the new full-length album is still being mixed and should be out in February. IY has long been one of my favorite bands, so I am obviously very excited to bring you this new song. Huge thanks to everyone behind-the-scenes who made this possible! Don't forget, IY is also touring Scandinavia later this month with the UK's Grand Drive:

11/24 - KB, Malmö
11/25 - Herrgår'n, Linköping
11/26 - Sticky Fingers, Göteborg
11/27 - Nalen, Stockholm
11/28 - Klubb Söndag @ Strömpis, Örebro

Guess what? Isolation Years isn't the only band offering hot new tracks at IAT today. We've also got yet another new song from Peter, Bjorn and John and their new album "Falling out". Today's song is called "Tailormade" and was produced by fellow Planekonomi artist Paddington DC. Needless to say, it sounds great, so be sure to check it out.

Speaking of the aforementioned Silverbullit, their new track from the Sonic Magazine "Sonically Speaking Vol. 19" comp is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to hear the new album.

Danish electronic/noise/drone act Wäldchengarten has announced that Verato Project will be repressing the "BeautyBoxer" album and packaging it in two screwed-together metal plates. Verato will also be releasing a new album in early 2005 called "Reservatet" which stems from a project with critically acclaimed Danish author Christian Haun Nielsen, made for "Lyd og Litteratur 2" in 2003. The new album will contain a reworking of said track that is said to still fit perfectly as a "soundtrack for the collapse of an unbalanced neurotic mind." Lastly, the group will release a second full-length called "Electrical Bonding" via Desolation House around March/April next year. The disc will be mastered by renown electronic musician Robert Rich and will feature artwork from John Bergin. It should also be noted that Desolation House is a division of US label Relapse Records, best known for their illustrious metal and grindcore roster.

Subliminal Sounds, the label of current media darling Dungen, has signed The Works and will release their debut album sometime around February.

Kristofer Åström has finally confirmed that his new, full-band album will be called "So much for staying alive" and will be released on March 9. Here's the tentative tracklist:
