Undoubtedly, one of 2005's most anticipated releases.
It's the dreaded dead week between Christmas and New Year's, but does IAT take a break? Hell no. Two new top 10s are posted today from singer/songwriters for your perusal as well as a slew of reviews that went up over the weekend. Be sure to check 'em out. Don't forget that I posted my own personal top 10 album list on Friday, too. Check that out right here. And remember, I'll still be posting new stuff every day this week. What's a vacation again?
New mp3 today from Sophie Zelmani, one of the many fine artists that made it to my year-end list. There's something so soothing and comforting in her voice and delivery, even when singing about the most tragic of subjects. I just love how restrained it is. Even when the strings and horns are playing on the final chorus, it's still very, very subdued. That's about the limit of how anthemic and epic the album gets, too. Perfect rainy day music.
