Switchblade is planning on recording something new in later spring/early summer. Otherwise, that tour 7" they put out a couple months ago with guest vocals from Mattias Friberg of Logh will be getting a US release via Deathwish/Icarus soon.
Randy reports that they've recorded demos for nine new songs this past weekend and will probably enter the studio in May to record their next album, tentatively set for an August release.
Swedish metalcore act Nine is heading into Dugout Studios to record 12 new songs for what I can only assume would be their next album.
Millencolin will be jetsetting around Europe at the beginning of February to help promote and do press for their new album "Kingwood" and will be doing some DJ gigs along the way. Dates:

That upcoming Firefox 7" on Labrador I mentioned last week is actually coming out on a new sublabel called Heartbeat. Heartbeat will be dedicated exclusively to releasing 7" singles. Firefox's "What’s that sound" comes out in February. Coming up after that will be "Watch my back" from Labrador-mainstays The Radio Dept. and then "Dead leaves" from recent signees Sambassadeur. Finland's Amorphis has announced the addition of new vocalist Tomi Joutsen (Nevergrey), the replacement for outgoing frontman Pasi Koskinen who left the band in August. The band's most recent album "Far From The Sun" was released in the US last September and they will coming over to tour in support this coming March.
