New mp3 today from singer/songwriter Racingpaperplanes aka Richard Wilson of Göteborg, Sweden. Today's selection is a part of a new net-single, out today from Realease Records. Like me, most people probably first heard of Richard through his involvement with the "I am a cold rock, I am dull grass" Will Oldham tribute on Tract Records. I know it's kind of an oxymoron to recommend Swedish Americana music, but when it's done right, there ain't nothing wrong. Check out the song and if you like it, follow the banner on the right to get the b-side or order the CDR.

It's tentatively due out around September, but nothing's 100% confirmed quite yet.
