Bedroom Records has announced that the new Happy Go Luckys EP "The snowball parade" is done and will be ready for release soon. Also on the way is a new EP from Holding a Peach and the final edition of the All Of My Brother's Girlfriends seasonal series with a blowout double-album on one CDR with two covers. Bedroom will also reissue AOMBG's 2nd cassette-only album on CDR with new artwork by Tommy, the same guy who did the art for the Mexicos. Lastly, Erik Halldén is working on a new album called "Memories, oh, the memories" with pianist/composer André Inge and Irene will be releasing a debut album soon, too.

Finland's HIM has set August 9 as the date for the release of their brand new single "Killing loneliness", the first from the band's forthcoming album "Dark light" which is due out September 26. In other news, the band will be doing a short set of club dates before the big album release and subsequently larger follow-up tour:

Gluecifer has recorded a new tune entitled "Desolate city" for use on the soundtrack for the upcoming Norwegian film "Izzat". Guitarist Captain Poon is assembling said soundtrack and it will supposedly feature "all important Norwegian rockbands from the last two-three decades."

Dub Sweden is working on a new album with producer Anders Lind, due out sometime around August or September.

It's interesting for me to note how long its taken for other Scandinavian music sites to pop up since I first started this thing some three years ago. There's been quite a few new niche sites starting to gain traction, especially in the past year. I guess I have to work harder, eh?
