Does Bear Quartet really need an introduction? C'mon now - they only just happen to be Sweden's greatest indierock band. Today's classic Friday tune is a live recording of the song "Helpless" from a show in Gbg back in 2000, the same year the song appeared on the album "My war". I know I'm not exactly reaching that far into the band's extensive back-catalogue with this one, but the quality is indisputable. Who knows? Maybe I'll have Jim from Parasol do another BQ mix or something. And don't forget - there's yet another new album coming soon. Can't wait to hear it.
