It's totally ridiculous, but I still don't have home Internet yet. For some reason, Comcast requires a one-week wait for "installation", whatever that means. I assume that it only requires someone flipping a switch somewhere, but I don't know how to do it myself. Needless to say, I'm very angry. Anyhow, even though I can't resume full updates yet, I did manage to get a new podcast up and have also update the title bar images with some puppy pics. It's not much, but bear with me - I'll be back again at 100% as soon as possible! I've also updated the mailorder with a couple new additions and a new album of the month. I might be a touch slower than usual to get stuff shipped out, but I'm on top of things, I promise. Spend money! The more you spend, the more new stuff I'll keep importing. Cheers!
As luck would have it, Comcast totally screwed me over and won't have my Internet access up and running for another week. How awesome is that? Sooooo, it looks like I might be laying low for awhile. I'm going to try and recontinue full news updates later this week, but it depends on when I get my laptop configured and where I can find WiFi access and so on and so forth. I'll be back soon, I promise.
This is it - my last day at the job I've held for the past four years. So weird! And then tomorrow I'm packing up a truck and moving 700-some miles north to Olympia, Washington. A whole new life in the space of a weekend, can you believe it? What this means:
a) I've got a new address. Check either the contact or the about page for details on sending me promos, housewarming gifts and cash.
b) I will be without Internet access for a few days. I'll do my best to answer emails in a timely fashion, but don't expect me to update the site or send out mailorder until after the July 4th holiday.
c) It kinda goes hand-in-hand with the last one, but this week's Friday classic-track posting has been preempted. The newsletter will be going out later on this afternoon.
So wish me well, okay? I hope to be back next week with a ton of new mailorder updates and lots more other goodies. To whet your appetite and keep you satisfied, I've posted a new podcast as well. It goes well with my new soggy, gloomy climate. Enjoy!
