The latest (International) Noise Conspiracy album "Armed love" will finally get an official US release on October 4 via American Recordings. As mentioned here before, the record has been delayed so long because the label was between distributors for quite some time and only recently had them resolved. Look for new US tourdates to be announced soon.

Norwegian avant-metallers Manes have revealed that their upcoming "[view]" EP will feature two new tracks along with covers of songs by 16 Horsepower and Duran Duran along with two remix tracks, one by US noise artist Cordell Klier and one from DJ Don Tomasso.
The new Surferosa album has been assigned a release date of September 26 and the band will start touring in Norway on October 10. More details to come.

US-based label The Slight Record will be releasing Boy Omega's most recent album "The black tango" sometime around October. Look for releases in other territories to be announced shortly as well. In other news, preparations are already underway for BO's third album, tentatively titled "Hope on the horizon". The many backing players in the "orchestra" contributed to the arrangements on the songwriting for this selection of songs and the music will almost all be tracked live in the studio. Every time I hear something new from these guys it's always better and better, so I expect big things.
The performance by noise artists The Skull Defekts and Lasse Marhaug at this year's Norberg Festival at the end of July will be recorded for a CD release later this year via Aa Records. More info about the show here: http://www.norbergfestival.com/
