The new Nicke Andersson (Hellacopters, ex-Entombed) death-metal project now has a name: Death Breath. The band also features Jörgen Sandström (Viscious Art, ex-Entombed/Grave) on vokills and Robert Persson (Hellacopters, Thunder Express) on guitar. Look for their debut album later this year.
Gorilla vs Bear on Imperial Recordings artist Martin McFaul and his new album "Pop mansion": http://gorillavsbear.blogspot.com/2006/03/pop-mansion.html
I've only listened to the record once so far, but it reminded me a bit of older Soundtrack of Our Lives stuff (think "Extended revelation" era).
Also at Gorilla vs Bear is a post on Danish electronic artists Epicentre: http://gorillavsbear.blogspot.com/2006/03/epicentre.html
Agreed that the music is quite impressive, especially considering the age of the people involved. Listen to more of their stuff here: http://epicentre.mymusic.dk/ (free registration req'd)

Aversionline reviews the new In Flames (and rants extensively about bad promo tactics): http://www.aversionline.com/blahg/2006/03/absolut-melodicswedishdeathmetal.html
I tend to be one of those people who thinks that "The jester race" is the best thing In Flames ever did, but I do like a few of their later records too. Still haven't heard the new one myself though.
