A message from Sudd:

Open call for football! The FIFA World Cup in Germany is coming up in June and Sudd is going to celebrate this with a compilation of football anthems. We want everybody, from every genres, to send in their contributions, to get the eclectisism as massive as possible. Deadline is set to May 10th. The only demand for the track is that it is somehow football related. Contact info@sudd.org for more information.

MP3: Iisole - The words

We continue our glut of great new music with another full week of daily tunes, 'cept this time it's all demo/self-released material. My first choice was easy - all of Iisole's previous material has been strong, but their latest demo is a stunner. The band has started to incorporate more post-rock tendencies into their noisy, guitar-heavy sound and the result is something like a cross between KVLR and Logh, two of my most favorite bands. How could I not love it? Hopefully you will too.

Iisole - The words

Amandine put on a decent show last night despite having just arrived in the States that day, missing most of their backline and having a sick drummer. Yeah, all things considered, they did more than alright. It was a short, but sweet set and they played all the songs I wanted to hear, so I was happy. Be sure to check 'em out when they swing by your neck of the woods.

Instead of posting an older mp3 today like I normally do on Fridays, I'm going to take this opportunity to hype up Monday's Tack! Tack! Tack! show with Antennas and La Tour by posting the latest Antennas single "Adapt!". Check it out and, if you're in London on Monday night, be sure to check out the show too. It should be a good time. Buy presale tickets here.

CDs from Chalksounds are back in stock! These might be some of the very last copies available, so act fast if you want 'em.

The Sound O.E has a new 10" EP called "Am I off or on?" out now on If God Loves Records. Listen to a sample track here: http://www.etrea.se/tsoe/misc/thesoundoe-dollarhalodollarcross.mp3
