Stig Vig aka Per Odeltorp, best known as the frontman/bassist for long-running Swedish "transkontinental rockreggae" act Dag Vag, has passed away at the age of 63.
I don't talk up Gimme Indie on a regular basis since our tastes don't intersect all that often, but kudos to them for getting a big writeup in Dagens Nyheter on the eve of their two year anniversary.

Apparently the band recorded a full 9 hours of material during the sessions for their final album "Leucocyte" and had originally intended to release it as a double-album or two consecutive ones.
