is now the first Swedish label with their own iPhone app: http://itunes.apple.com/se/app/hybris/id344917290?mt=8
I haven't checked it out myself since no one has given me an iPhone yet, but they say that you can use it to "listen to our music, watch the videos, connect with fans/artists/label and a lot of other stuff."
In case you're curious, here's the full tracklist for I'm From Barcelona's forthcoming album "27 songs from Barcelona": http://www.imfrombarcelona.com/?p=1077
Swedes love to spend winter vacation in Thailand, why not send them a bunch of bands for entertainment (and charity)? Check out the ReEarth Festival in Koh Samui, Thailand on February 25-26: http://www.reearth.me/
Acts confirmed include Timbuktu, Sahara Hotnights, Looptroop Rockers, Chords and more.
I had know that Johannes Persson from Cult of Luna was a longtime Unbroken fan, but I never knew that CoL recorded a cover of them for a limited 7" a few years back. Listen now at myspace: http://www.myspace.com/cultofluna
Sju Svåra År is the name of a very promising new Swedish punk act featuring ex-members from Burning Kitchen, Satirnine and Wolfbrigade. The band already has a 11-song LP under their belt that they are shopping around, so expect to hear lots more about them soon. In the meantime, hear a few samples at myspace: http://www.myspace.com/sjusvaraar
